PLA is the most popular type of 3D filament, probably because is one of the easiest 3D filaments to print and it doesn’t warp as easily, meaning it doesn’t require a heating bed (although it definitely helps to heat it). Another benefit of using PLA is that it’s considered an odorless filament and is environmentally friendlier than many others 3D printer filaments.

So far it sounds like a perfect 3D filament but just like every other plastic, it has some disadvantages; the PLA material has low-temperature resistance, and it will start to lose mechanical strength at temperatures over 60 °C. It is also important that we mention that this filament is brittle, so avoid making PLA 3D models that might be bent, twisted, or repeatedly dropped. Instead use it to make 3D models like decorations, low-wear toys, prototype parts, and containers.

Even though our PLA filament is made from materials that are food-safe, we do not recommend repeatedly drinking or eating from your 3D prints, because the bacteria can build up there over time.

Our PLA filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including Creality and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker, Artillery, Flashforge, Creatbot, Makergear, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

AzureFilm PLA filaments come in different colors and options; from the basics colors like white and black to glow-in-the-dark properties or those mixed with real wood or glitter.

ASA filament net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs), in the welding positions on the outer diameter 210 mm on the reel, with an inside opening of 60 mm diameter and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the ASA filament is 1.75 mm.

ASA filament is made for open 3D Printers that can not print with ABS Filament. ASA Filament is stiffer, stronger, flexible and UV resistant. It is mainly designed for professional use. Most often it is used for the production of prototypes, which must withstand higher temperatures. Finished products that are made of ASA filament are very durable and impact resistant. For good results, you must print at a temperature of 240–260°C. Filament AzureFilm ASA is perfectly printed on Creality, Geetech, Prusa and similar printers. For printing with an ASA filament, we recommend that the printer are closed and the table should be heated to 100–120°C. Please note that the range in the printing temperature may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

Easy to print

The PLA Matte HS collection is ideal for beginners, as it is easy to print. Despite its ease of use, PLA Matte HS has improved aesthetic properties compared to regular PLA, which makes it suitable for various applications such as decorations.

Consistent matte surface finish

The filaments in the Matte collection have a characteristic matte surface, which makes it possible to hide the lines of the layers. Try PLA Matte HS and enjoy the professional look of your prints.

High-speed printing

The possibility of printing at a speed of up to 500mm/s allows you to create quickly and efficiently. The printing speed does not affect the mechanical properties of the filament and does not change the matte appearance of the final object.

Less visible layer lines

The PLA Matte HS collection is specifically designed to provide less visibility of layer lines, a common challenge in 3D printing. This feature is particularly useful for applications where aesthetics are paramount. The reduced need for post-processing enables the creation of beautiful architectural models, decorations and prototypes.

Excellent first-layer adhesion

The grip on the print bed is crucial as it affects the stability and quality of the print. PLA Matte HS excels in this area as the prints adhere well to the build plate throughout the printing process. This also reduces the need for additional adhesion, such as glues, tapes or sprays, which can complicate the installation and cleaning process.

Product Storage

We recommend storing the filament in a cool, dry enclosed space with a silica desiccant packet, away from UV light.

eSun ePLA-Silk

Shiny surface with silk luster, giving smooth, pearly and unique touch. No extra polishing needed, printing at a high detail results in a beautiful finish. Unique silky smooth appearance gives out shiny eye-popping glossy prints,

Stable Dimensional ToleranceStable Dimensional Tolerance

Minimum tolerance and low warping to ensure consistent feeding and stable prints, good layer bonding, less stringing, no bubbles, no cracking, easy handling, resulting in an outstanding surface finish and are highly precise.

Tangle Free & No Plugging

1KG filament reel, perfect roundness and very tight diameter tolerance, does not overlap or tangle. Melt well, feed smoothly and constantly without clogging the nozzle or extruder, high successful printing rate.

Wide Application

Silk PLA adds shiny and smooth effect based on ordinary PLA, which is perfect for arts & crafts projects, vases and any other 3D printed items that could benefit from a outstanding shiny appearance.

Good Printability

Support structure is easy to peel off, smooth and flat printed surface; High toughness, not easy to break; Keep all the advantages of PLA, easy to print, low shrinkage, no deformation; Printing speed is faster than ABS, PC, PA and other material.

Access to all technical data sheets can be found here.
