Refill PLA

Refill PLA filaments have the exact same properties as our PLA Original. These filaments are an eco-friendly choice that offers reliable performance and consistent results. Furthermore, our Refill PLA filaments are easy to print and great for beginners.

What is new?

We removed the plastic zip ties and replaced them with a better option to make unpacking easier.

The filament tail is now completely straight. That prevents it from getting stuck in the spool and ruining your print when the filament runs out.

Perfect compatibility with AzureFilm and Bambu Lab spools.

Printing recommendations:

Print at 200–230°C temperature for best results.*

You do not need a heated bed however, we recommend preheating your printing table to 50–60°C.

Use a glass bed, PEI sheet, Kapton, or Blue tape for the build platform with 3Dlac spray.

*Ideal temperature may vary when using different printers.

TPU filaments are essentially plastics with rubber-like qualities, making them extremely flexible and durable. Flexible filaments are commonly used to produce household appliances, toys, phone cases, wearables like wristbands, automotive parts, and medical supplies. If you need something that is supposed to bend, stretch, or compress, this TPU 3D printer filament should be up for the task.

Compared to generic TPE, AzureFilms TPU filament is slightly more rigid, which is a good feature in the 3D printing industry because it means that is easier to 3D print it. It is also a little more durable and can better retain its elasticity in the cold. The wear resistance of the TPU Filament is 20% better than the ABS Filament and 68% better than the PLA Filament.

AzureFilms TPU is incredibly easy to feed in your 3D printer; we offer 2 different types of hardness 85A shore and 98A shore. If you have a direct drive extruder you can print both types of flexible filaments, but if your 3D printer has a Bowden tube you will need to use a very specific fine-tuning. Printers with a Bowden tube have a tendency to get jammed while printing any TPU filaments. If you have a Bowden tube we suggest you use 98A shore flexible filament (the filament is a little bit harder than 85A shore, which makes it easier to print).

WARNING: If you hear the filament cross during 3D printing it means that the filament is damp and needs to be dried for good results. Use a filament dryer like Creality Dry box.

Cons: Difficult to print, requires tight filament path and slow print speed, hygroscopic

PETG Filament 1KG net weight 1 kg (2.2 lbs), in the welding positions on the reel with the outer diameter of 210 mm, with an inside opening of 60 mm diameter and a width of the reel of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum-sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the PETG filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm and is produced in more than 10 different shades.

PETG (polyethylene terephthalate) filament is a plastic thread that combines the properties of the ABS filament (solid, temperature-resistant, extremely durable) and the PLA filament (easy to print). Because of these properties, PETG is a filament material for 3D printing that you must have. It is environmentally friendly and can be recycled after use. Precisely because of its excellent chemical stability, PETG is a material that meets all the requirements of the European Parliament and the Council on artificial substances in contact with food products and medicines.

Our PETG filament is extremely durable, solid and odorless. It is an excellent filament that combines a combination of strength and flexibility, so it is used for printing mechanical products or in robotics. Because it has an extremely minimal degree of shrinkage and bending, it is ideal for printing large products. It is a material that is distinguished by a gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.
For good results, you must print at a temperature of 220–240°C, and the printing table should be heated to 80-90°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

Plastic thread made of PETG material easily adheres to the printing table so that it can be printed on acrylic, glass or polyamide tape. The advantage of PETG material is that you do not need a sealed printer for printing, and the print speed is comparable to that of PLA filament printing. The PETG material has an excellent support structure due to the strength that helps to ensure that the layers are perfectly adhering during the printing, and consequently the products are structurally strong and resistant to mechanical influences.

AzureFilm PLA filament with a net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) or 0.5 kg (1.10 lbs), in rolls of 210 mm of external diameter, with an inside opening of 60 mm and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum-sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the PLA filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm and it is produced in more than 30 different shades.

PLA (polylactic acid) filament for 3d printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. PLA filament is bio-plastic, which means that it is a renewable and biodegradable material. As a biodegradable material, it is much better for the environment, especially in comparison with petrochemical alternatives (eg. ABS). For good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 200–230°C and the printing table should be heated to 50-60°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

Our PLA filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. We recommend that a newcomer keeps using the PLA printing filament because it is truly the most accessible and easy to use. It is a good material because it has excellent properties and it does not shrink when printing. In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. ABS filament is a great alternative, but it does shrink, so you’ll have more problems with the grip of the filament on the printing table. PLA filament is a material that is distinguished by a gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.

Our PLA filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

PLA 3d printing filament is the best-selling product out of the 3D filaments used for 3D printing with a good reason, since it is used in a wide range of 3D printing. Its advantages are that it is odorless, easy to print and does not require a heated table when printing. For PETG Filaments click here.
