Due to its exceptional appearance, Silk filament is currently the best-selling product among 3D filaments for 3D printing. When printing with Silk filament, you can expect a shiny and silky finish on the final product, which is not only aesthetically appealing but also successfully conceals the transitions between layers.

Silk filament for 3D printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. Silk Filament is a special mix of material with certain additives, and can be 3D printed in much the same way as normal PETG.
For good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 220-240°C and the printing table should be heated to 80°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

Our Silk filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. It is accessible, easy to use and a good material because it has excellent properties and it does not shrink when printing.
In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. Silk filament is a material that is distinguished by an amazing gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.

Our Silk filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

AzureFilm Silk filament with a net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) or 0.5 kg (1.10 lbs), in rolls of 210 mm of external diameter, with an inside opening of 60 mm and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum-sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the Silk filament is 1.75 mm.

Refill PLA Silk

Refill PLA Silk filaments offer the exact same properties as our PLA Silk. They give your prints the appearance of a shiny, slightly translucent and silky surface. Moreover, this material helps conceal the transitions between layers when printing.

Refill PLA Silk is easy to print and available in many different colour options. These filaments are an eco-friendly choice that offers reliable performance and consistent results. Furthermore, our Refill PLA Silk filaments are great for beginners.

Printing recommendations:

• For the best results, print at 220–240°C.
• Recommended printing table temperature is 80°C.
• Use a glass bed, PEI sheet, Kapton, or Blue tape for the build platform with 3Dlac spray.
