AzureFilm PLA filament with a net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) or 0.5 kg (1.10 lbs), in rolls of 210 mm of external diameter, with an inside opening of 60 mm and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum-sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the PLA filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm and it is produced in more than 30 different shades.

PLA (polylactic acid) filament for 3d printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. PLA filament is bio-plastic, which means that it is a renewable and biodegradable material. As a biodegradable material, it is much better for the environment, especially in comparison with petrochemical alternatives (eg. ABS). For good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 200–230°C and the printing table should be heated to 50-60°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

Our PLA filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. We recommend that a newcomer keeps using the PLA printing filament because it is truly the most accessible and easy to use. It is a good material because it has excellent properties and it does not shrink when printing. In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. ABS filament is a great alternative, but it does shrink, so you’ll have more problems with the grip of the filament on the printing table. PLA filament is a material that is distinguished by a gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.

Our PLA filament is compatible with almost all 3D printers, including RepRap and MakerBot printers, Ultimaker, Bits from Bytes, Airwolf3D, Makergear, Printrbot, Bukobot, Type A Machines and many more.

PLA 3d printing filament is the best-selling product out of the 3D filaments used for 3D printing with a good reason, since it is used in a wide range of 3D printing. Its advantages are that it is odorless, easy to print and does not require a heated table when printing. For PETG Filaments click here.

PC-ABS filament is a mix of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). It is very popular due to its high mechanical performance, lightweight, and expended lifetime. This filament is ideal for application in the automotive, electronic, and telecommunication industries. Azurefilm PC ABS combines the strength and heat resistance of polycarbonate and the elasticity of ABS. It has excellent temperature resistance up to 100 °C and it also offers excellent toughness, strength, chemical resistance against alcohols, oils, greases, ozone, and water while displaying a smooth surface finish. We recommend printing it in a heated chamber (closed 3d printer). Since it is partly ABS, you need to keep a stable environment (room temperature 20-25˚C) and make sure to ventilate the room after printing.

For good results, you must print it in a closed 3D printer at a temperature of 260–280°C, and the printing table should be heated to 90-110°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

• Pros: Flexible, strong, durable, heat resistant, overall excellent mechanical performance

• Cons: Susceptible to moisture, you need a printer with a chamber

Strength: High| Flexibility: Medium | Durability: High

Difficulty to use: Medium | Shrinkage/warping: Minimal

Soluble: No | Food Safety: Non toxic, but not food safe

ABS Plus filament Black, net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs), in the welding positions on the outer diameter 210 mm on the reel, with an inside opening of 60 mm diameter and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the ABS filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) filament is stiffer, stronger and flexible. It is mainly designed for professional use. Most often it is used for the production of prototypes, which must withstand higher temperatures. Finished products that are made of ABS filament are very durable and impact resistant. For good results, you must print at a temperature of 230–260°C. Filament AzureFilm ABS Plus is perfectly printed on Zortrax, Ultimaker and similar printers. For printing with an ABS filament, we recommend that the printer be closed and the table should be heated to 100–120°C. Please note that the range in the printing temperature may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers

If the printed product of ABS filament is placed under a cup with wipes soaked in acetone, it becomes smooth, and there are no noticeable layers in the 3D printing that appear during the printing process. The product should be left under the cup for about five minutes.
Our ABS Plus is perfectly printed with printers Zortrax and Ultimaker:
